Please read my post over on Alex Mandossian’s blog. I wrote about repurposing your content into blog posts. Don’t be stuck for posting ideas. Look at what you’ve already written and turn it into one or many posts. Do this over an over again and you have much fodder for your blog!

Dan Frommer over at Silicon Alley Insider is reporting that with Google’s acquisition of FeedBurner, they are shutting the door on new publishers in the FeedBurner ad network. Not surprisingly, Google is instead directing publishers to its AdSense/Adwords system. Not surprising because they started talking about it in May but maybe it’s happening sooner than anyone thought.

Of course you should. Isn’t it inspiring to watch people who have worked and trained and sacrificed do great things on the world stage?
What can we learn – for example from the US men’s gymnastic team? How about ‘Never Give Up’! They lost their team leader but are not defeated. Will they get the gold? Maybe – maybe not. Is it important? Not in the least because they are there and are doing better than their best. Who can ask for more?
What about Stephanie Rice of Australia and Dara Torres (age 41) of the US? There are so many personal victories but every athlete aimed high and achieved. We can learn that we must never give up, aim high, and achieve our goals too.
To all the Olympic athletes – thank you for your inspiration!

Wow – I just got off the phone a bit ago with Jim (half the Judith and Jim team) and found out that I will be doing a breakout session at Bridging Heart and Marketing – September 12 – 14 in LA! A breakout session is just great – it’s a smaller group of people in a more intimate setting. We are really going to have fun!
Yesterday I did a preview call with Judith and Jim about the conference. If you missed it, listen to it at Bridging Heart and Marketing. It’s a great call all on its own!

Last Friday Google (Blogger) marked a whole bunch of its Blogger blogs as spam. The blog owners had no access to their blogs and couldn’t do anything and didn’t know why.
You all know that I preach about owning your own data and this is just another example of why. The folks at Blogger actually apologized today and promised that they are in the process of fixing it but does that make it ok? How many bloggers were worrying and wondering what happened?
Here is what Blogger has to say, “We’ve tracked down the problem to a bug in our data processing code that locked blogs even when our algorithms concluded they were not spam.”
That is not comforting to the many (we don’t know exactly how many bloggers they shut down) who were affected. It must have been a lot because even when Blogger shut down its OWN blog they said nothing so this must have been huge.
This is just another example to prove the point – own your own data. Take 100% responsibility for your own ‘stuff’.
