Today’s topic on The Wizard Weekly is ‘Harnessing the Power of Your Blog’. One thing we will talk about is frequency of posting. It seems like I’m saying, ‘Do as I say, not as I do’. A friend e-mailed me yesterday and noted that my last post was in April so she wondered if I had moved! What a wake-up call.
Recently, Alex Mandossian wrote a post titled ‘What’s the Frequency of Your Speed of Trust‘. In that post he talked about his lack of posting and how that eroded trust among his readers. It is so true and I’m here to affirm it. The post is a good read and I urge you to go check it out.
There are many excuses for my lack of posting but none rises to level of a good reason. So – my pledge to you is that I will post much more frequently and I will strive to keep you updated on all the good things happening in the world of blogging of WordPress.
I sometimes find myself posting too often (if that’s possible!). My audience is my business partners (who need product information) and anyone with an interest in improving their health. The more I learn, the more I want to share. I sometimes go to new product launches and take heaps of notes, then translate my notes into a series of posts. When I get home from a new product meeting (usually late at night) I just can’t help myself, I NEED to post!
Oh well, we all need a small obsession, don’t we?
