WordPress 2.5

Have you been waiting all day for the release of the WordPress 2.5 version?  I know I have! (not)

There is supposed to be some fancy new color scheme in the dashboard - you can choose what color you want your dashboard to be.  Maybe, it is rumored, there will even be plugins to select your color scheme and a color scheme for stylesheets.  I can live without that!

It’s important for any upgrade but essential for a major upgrade like this is supposed to be.  In fact, I think you should take the time to read what the Blog Herald has to say about this upgrade.

My major advice is backup.  Backup your database.  Backup your theme.  Backup your plugins.  Backup EVERYTHING.  Then have fun with the upgrade.

Oh - by the way - the new release date is March 17.  I know I’ll be holding my breath for this one!
